Senior Management Team Nan Josephson, Ph.D., CEO Dr. Josephson was a commercial graphic artist, a technical illustration specialist for Rolls Royce, a K-12 New York City Teaching Fellow, a partner in Harvard University's World Teach program, and Chief Executive Officer of two nonprofits in Vermont and New Jersey prior to founding the Africa Teach Foundation. She has an Associate's degree in Graphic Design, a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art, a Master's of Art degree in Education (Curriculum & Instruction), a Master's of Science degree in Special Education, and a Doctorate in Education & Nonprofit Administration. The Africa Teach Foundation is the realization of a dream to return to Africa and serve the beautiful people that she met there. Matt Trobridge, Creative & Development Director Mr. Trobridge represented the United States on the U.S. National Luge team, winning an unprecedented four World titles and setting several world records that have yet to be broken. His sports background led to his recruitment into the Accessories Design team for Polo Ralph Lauren on Madison Avenue in New York City. He created sports accessories for the Tennis U.S. Open, Wimbledon, and Ralph's luxury sport RLX lines. He was also instrumental in the process of getting the company to be the Olympic clothing sponsor for the U.S. Olympic team in Beijing, China. He is the founder of McClain & Co Designs, a web design and animation firm in Los Angeles. Drew McClain, Computer IT & Operations Director Mr. McClain is the heart and soul of the organization. He has a passion to serve the people of Africa with dignity and honor. He is part of the younger generation's computer savvy culture and brings a rich experience in computer technology, gaming, social networking, and programming to the organization. He is our mathematician and has the unique ability to balance vision with pragmatism. William S. Kelting, CPA & Auditor Mr. Kelting is a consultant with Africa Teach Foundation and provides financial oversight and assistance with audits, payroll, and taxes. He was the Finance Director of Prim-Hall Enterprises for 25 years and is currently the CFO for a community action nonprofit agency in upstate New York. He has a bachelor's degree in Music and a degree in Accounting from the State University of New York. He is a leader in his local home church and understands the calling of nonprofits to serve humanity with compassion and commitment. Stephen M. Josephson, Facilities Engineer Mr. Josephson is an Engineering Mechanical Designer with over 25 years experience in Aerospace, Medical, and Commercial Industry Projects in a wide variety of disciplines and CAD systems. Trained in Industrial Design, Commercial and Fine Art, he brings a broad experience base to our organization. A Foster Parent, Mr. Josephson places the highest priority on children's overall Educational development – Spiritual, Creative, Technical, Sports, Health, Business and Community-centered learning. Focusing on the protection and empowerment of our societies' most vulnerable members is his commitment to the Africa Teach Foundation. |
